Crispy, crunchy chicken pieces coated in a sweet-and-spicy hot honey glaze. Baked, not fried, for a healthier take on a comfort food classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Cooking spray or olive oil for baking

For the Hot Honey Sauce:

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet.

  2. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg wash, and coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. Place chicken on the baking sheet, spray with cooking spray, and bake for 20–25 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, combine honey and hot sauce in a small saucepan, simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  5. Drizzle or toss the baked chicken in the hot honey sauce.

  6. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
