Creamy garlic chicken is pan-seared chicken in a rich, velvety garlic-Parmesan cream sauce. Ready in under 40 minutes and perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter (divided)

68 garlic cloves, minced

½ cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  3. Reduce heat. Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 1–2 minutes.

  4. Pour in broth, stir, and simmer. Add cream and Parmesan. Stir until thickened.

  5. Return chicken to skillet. Simmer 2–3 minutes until heated through.

  6. Garnish and serve hot with preferred sides.

Notes

  • Use half-and-half for lighter sauce.

  • Add mushrooms or spinach for variety.

  • Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days.
