This Creamy Garlic Chicken is a rich, savory skillet dish with tender seared chicken in a velvety garlic-parmesan cream sauce. One pan, 30 minutes, pure comfort.
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into cutlets)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
6–8 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley or thyme
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 3–4 min per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan.
Lower heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in broth, scraping up brown bits. Simmer 1–2 minutes.
Stir in cream and parmesan. Simmer gently until sauce thickens.
Return chicken to pan. Simmer 3–4 minutes to warm through.
Garnish with parsley. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
