This Creamy Garlic Chicken is a rich, savory skillet dish with tender seared chicken in a velvety garlic-parmesan cream sauce. One pan, 30 minutes, pure comfort.

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into cutlets)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 68 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

  • ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley or thyme

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  • Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 3–4 min per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan.

  • Lower heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  • Pour in broth, scraping up brown bits. Simmer 1–2 minutes.

  • Stir in cream and parmesan. Simmer gently until sauce thickens.

  • Return chicken to pan. Simmer 3–4 minutes to warm through.

  • Garnish with parsley. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
