Golden crispy chicken strips wrapped in a soft tortilla with fresh vegetables, cheese, and creamy sauce.

Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts sliced into strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Oil for frying
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 half cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1 half cup mayonnaise or ranch dressing

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt pepper and paprika.

  • Dredge in flour then egg then seasoned breadcrumbs.

  • Fry in hot oil until golden and cooked through.

  • Drain on paper towels.

  • Warm tortillas briefly.

  • Spread sauce add lettuce tomatoes cheese and chicken.

  • Fold sides and roll tightly.

  • Toast wraps lightly in skillet if desired.

Notes

Bake or air fry for lighter option. Do not overfill wraps. Assemble just before serving for best crispness.
