Golden crispy chicken strips wrapped in a soft tortilla with fresh vegetables, cheese, and creamy sauce.
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts sliced into strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Oil for frying
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 half cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1 half cup mayonnaise or ranch dressing
Season chicken with salt pepper and paprika.
Dredge in flour then egg then seasoned breadcrumbs.
Fry in hot oil until golden and cooked through.
Drain on paper towels.
Warm tortillas briefly.
Spread sauce add lettuce tomatoes cheese and chicken.
Fold sides and roll tightly.
Toast wraps lightly in skillet if desired.
Bake or air fry for lighter option. Do not overfill wraps. Assemble just before serving for best crispness.
