This Easy Chicken Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a creamy, cheesy one-pan meal loaded with garlic, juicy chicken, and tender pasta. Perfect for weeknight dinners or cozy nights in.
1 lb pasta (fettuccine or penne)
1½ lbs boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
4–6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan
¼ cup chicken broth (or pasta water)
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Optional: parsley, red pepper flakes for garnish
Cook pasta in salted water; reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
In the same skillet, add more butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
Add pasta, chicken, and reserved broth/water. Toss until creamy and well coated.
Garnish with parsley, extra Parmesan, and pepper. Serve hot.
