12 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 lb ground breakfast sausage
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
1/2 cup diced bell peppers or other veggies (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Butter or oil for greasing
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
Spread sausage in the baking dish. Top with veggies and cheese if using.
Pour egg mixture over the top.
Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes until set in the center.
Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
