Tender garlic-seared steak and cheesy tortellini come together in a rich, buttery garlic sauce — a fast and flavorful 30-minute dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cubed

  • 1012 oz cheese tortellini

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp butter, divided

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • ¼ cup heavy cream (optional)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini, drain, and set aside.

  2. Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. Heat oil + 1 tbsp butter. Sear steak pieces 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and rest.

  4. In same pan, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 1 minute.

  5. Add cream (optional) and Parmesan. Stir until smooth.

  6. Toss in tortellini and steak. Warm through.

  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use block Parmesan for best melt.

  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra veggies.

  • Skip cream for a garlic butter version.
