Crispy halloumi wrapped with fresh veggies and drizzled in sweet chili sauce — a quick, meat-free meal bursting with flavor and texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 block halloumi cheese (8 oz), sliced

  • 23 tbsp sweet chili sauce

  • 23 tortillas or flatbreads

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or spinach

  • 1/2 cucumber, julienned

  • 1 carrot, shredded

  • Optional: red cabbage, pickled onion, fresh mint or cilantro

  • Olive oil for frying

  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Slice halloumi and pat dry.

  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and fry halloumi 2–3 minutes per side until golden.

  3. Drizzle with sweet chili sauce while hot.

  4. Prep and layer vegetables on a warmed wrap.

  5. Add halloumi, herbs, and an extra drizzle of sauce.

  6. Wrap tightly and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with sides like quinoa salad or cucumber ribbons. Can be made into a bowl. Vegan option: use grilled tofu or vegan halloumi.
